Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality service.
Duties
- Safely operating your vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- We operate 7 days a week Saturday-Friday
- Pay is two weeks out, after the first payout, pay is weekly
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools (GPS).
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Experience in moving, warehouse operations, or courier services is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Pay is two weeks out
