Fall Legal Intern – Criminal Defense

Krizman Law is seeking a motivated and dedicated Fall Legal Intern to join our criminal defense practice. This is a hands-on, UNPAID internship designed for students who are serious about pursuing a career in law and ready to work alongside attorneys on cases which at times can be serious felony cases.
Please note: This position is strictly unpaid. It is intended for students seeking real-world legal experience, academic credit, or portfolio building in a serious criminal defense environment.
What You Will Do:
- Shadow attorneys on cases which at times can be serious felony cases throughout all stages of case
- Assist with legal research and writing
- Attend and observe court appearances across the office and surrounding jurisdictions
- Participate in client interaction and case preparation
- Assist in recording and creating content for Krizman Law's social media pages
What We Are Looking For:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, paralegal, or law school program
- Ability to commute to our Downtown Denver office and surrounding jurisdictions 2 to 3 days per week (in-person required)
- Spanish speaking preferred
- Comfortable working on complex criminal matters which at times can often include serious felony cases
- Professional, discreet, and detail-oriented
- Passionate about criminal defense and advocacy
