Pest Control Technician / Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator

KRIT-X LLC is looking to add a Pest Control Technician to our team.

This is a full-time, Year-round position.

We are a locally owned and operated company looking to expand our team.

All applicants must have a valid Connecticut driver’s license with a clean driving record and pass a background check.

We are looking for a reliable individual that is self-motivated with good communication skills and must be able to work independently. The position requires the individual to be in good physical condition as it requires repetitive entry into attics & crawlspaces. Must possess the ability to use and climb ladders both inside and outside of structures. The individual must also be able to repetitively carry a backpack sprayer with up to 4 gallons of liquid throughout the day. This position does require a Commercial Junior Operator License or a Commercial Supervisory License as well as a Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator License. We will provide training & testing fees for any exams. There is no experience required for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct pest control inspections and identify infestation sources
- Determine appropriate treatment methods and develop treatment plans
- Apply pesticides and other pest control products to eliminate pests
- Install and maintain pest control equipment and devices
- Provide recommendations to prevent future pest infestations
- Communicate with customers to address their concerns and answer questions

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and various treatment equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Previous experience in pest control or related field is not required
