Dental Patient Care Coordinator / Dental Receptionist
Private Dental Practice | Monday–Thursday | 32 Hours/Week
We are a small, patient-focused boutique, out-of-network dental practice seeking an experienced and personable Dental Patient Care Coordinator / Receptionist to join our close-knit team. Our office consists of one dentist and four dedicated team members who work together in a friendly, supportive, and cohesive atmosphere. We take pride in delivering high-quality dental care with exceptional patient service, and our staff has a long history of staying with the practice for many years.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, thrives in a collaborative environment, and values professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail.
Schedule
- Monday through Thursday
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 32 hours per week
- No evenings or weekends
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and check in patients
- Answer phones and manage appointment scheduling
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments, accounts, and treatment coordination
- Collect patient payments and manage financial transactions
- Submit dental insurance claims and assist patients with understanding insurance benefits
- Coordinate communication with specialist offices
- Perform general administrative and front office duties
- Operate dental practice management software efficiently
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a dental front office / patient care coordinator role required
- Knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance coding
- Knowledge of Dentrix strongly preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a small team
