Job Summary:

As a Merchandiser at Kristen Distributing Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring our beverage products are prominently displayed and readily available to consumers. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the visibility and marketability of our products in various retail settings, contributing to increased sales and brand recognition.

Service Area: Washington and Austin County 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Merchandising: Organize and arrange beverage products on store shelves and displays to ensure optimal visibility and product presentation.
2. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage product inventory levels at retail locations, ensuring stock is replenished as needed to meet customer demand.
3. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with store managers, owners, and staff to ensure our products receive priority placement and attention.
4. Stock Rotation: Implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to prevent expired products and maintain product freshness.
5. Promotions and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales team to execute product promotions, point-of-sale displays, and marketing materials to increase product sales.
6. Data Collection: Gather data on product sales, customer feedback, and competition to provide valuable insights to the sales team.
7. Compliance: Ensure that all product placements and displays comply with company and legal standards, including pricing and signage regulations.
8. Reporting: Provide regular reports on merchandising activities, including photos and store visit summaries.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in merchandising or retail is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with store personnel.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain organized product displays.
• Physical fitness, as the role may require lifting and carrying cases of beverages.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
