Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm.
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize customer satisfaction through friendly recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
