Production Cook (Commissary Kitchen), Full-Time | Brooklyn, NY
We’re hiring a full-time Production Cook for our Brooklyn commissary. This is a production role focused on consistent execution, accuracy, and clean systems. You’ll work from written production sheets (specs) to prep and batch-cook components for catering menus.
This role is a strong fit for someone who likes clear standards, repeatable processes, and takes pride in doing the details right.
What you’ll do
- Prep and batch production following written specs (weights, yields, portion sizes, finish standards)
- Produce sauces, dressings, and components (mixing, blending, portioning, finishing)
- Portion accurately and consistently across larger batches
- Label, date, and store product correctly (FIFO)
- Keep your station clean and organized throughout the shift
- Support packouts when needed, with careful labeling and accuracy
- Communicate clearly when something is missing, off-spec, or needs attention
- Follow food safety, allergen, and sanitation standards

Pay
To be transparent about level and expectations, this position is scoped as a production cook role. Compensation will be discussed based on experience.
Schedule
Full-time role based in our Brooklyn commissary. Shifts are set in advance. Catering production can include early starts and occasional weekend availability. We’ll confirm the exact schedule early in the process.

Work conditions
- Standing for most of the shift
- Lifting and carrying kitchen containers and deliveries (up to ~50 lbs at times)
