Job Overview
We are seeking a Gardener In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining healthy landscapes. gardens, lawns, sprinklers , experience wanted.
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, trimming, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor areas vibrant and tidy
- Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, power tools, irrigation systems, and ground maintenance machinery safely and efficiently
- Manage irrigation systems to optimize water use and maintain healthy plant growth
- Apply pesticides and plant pest control techniques responsibly to protect plants from pests and diseases
- Maintain gardens with native plants and implement sustainable gardening practices aligned with environmental standards
- Conduct climbing tasks on ladders or trees as needed for pruning or planting taller vegetation
- Communicate effectively with clients or property managers regarding landscape needs or project updatesExperience
- Proven experience in gardening, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping roles with a focus on horticulture practices
- Hands-on experience with plant identification, growing techniques, and native plant care
- Familiarity with pesticide management, pest control methods, and irrigation systems
- Skilled in operating grounds maintenance equipment including power tools and manual hand tools
- Knowledge of lawn care routines such as fertilization, aeration, seeding, and mowing schedules
- Experience working with diverse landscapes including farming or agricultural settings is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and teamwork
