This role works closely with project management, operations, and leadership to ensure bids are profitable, realistic, and aligned with company standards.

This is not a “plug numbers into software and hope” role. You’ll be expected to understand scope, read drawings thoroughly, ask the right questions, and protect margins while staying competitive.

  • Provide clear scope breakdowns and budget details for execution teams
  • Support value engineering and alternate pricing when requested

Systems & Documentation

  • Maintain organized estimate files, takeoffs, and backup documentation
  • Use estimating software and company systems consistently
  • Track bid results, awarded jobs, and historical pricing for future reference
  • Help improve estimating standards, templates, and workflows over time
