What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCA / DSP in Home Care PT position at Kris's In-home Care?
- This is a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) position. I participate in the Consumer Directed Community Supports (CDCS) program, which allows me to hire caregivers who are the best fit for my needs and personality. My fiscal support services are provided through ACCRA. LONGTERM CARE PREFERRED
- Hours may be worked as full-day shifts or divided into morning and afternoon shifts, depending on availability.
- Every Monday 7:30am - 5pm, every Thursday 7:30am - 2pm and every other Friday 7:30am - 5pm
- Every other weekend Saturday 7:30- 3pm or 5pm? & Sunday 7:30am-3pm
- On-call is available as well - includes evening's 6:30pm-10:30pm
- Perform all cares such as bathing, grooming, dressing, catheter care, assist with bowel movements
- Tracheostomy care (no experience necessary... extensive training is provided with all cares )
- Every day daily necessities- cooking, cleaning.(household), etc.
- Fallowing my Care Plan
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship with positivity.
- Skills- cleanliness
- Experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred
- Strong observation with keeping close watch with skin and health
- Knowledge of basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals.
- Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately
