Position Summary
The Prep Baker supports the daily production and organization of the bakery department. This role focuses on preparing ingredients, baking and packaging bakery items, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked bakery area. The Prep Baker works closely with the bakery team to ensure consistent quality, food safety, and efficient production for guest and staff meals.
Key Responsibilities
Bakery Production

Assist with the preparation and baking of bakery items including cookies, scones, breads, and other baked goods.

Scoop and portion bakery cookies according to recipe specifications.

Punch, portion, and shape scones and other dough products.

Slice breads and prepare baked goods for service.

Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines to ensure product consistency.
Ingredient Preparation

Accurately weigh and measure ingredients according to bakery recipes.

Prepare and organize ingredients for daily production.

Maintain proper labeling and storage of ingredients.
Packaging and Presentation

Package bakery items such as cookies and baked goods for service or retail.

Label packaged products with appropriate ingredient and allergen information when required.

Ensure bakery items are presented neatly and stored properly.
Stocking and Organization

Restock bakery supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials as needed.

Food Safety & Sanitation
