Lead Apartment Maintenance Technician
IMMEDIATE OPENING!! Krimson, LLC is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to provide repair and maintenance services to an apartment community in Lansing Michigan.
Major Duties:
Repair skills should include but are not limited to: Rough and finish carpentry, drywall, painting, light electrical, HVAC, light plumbing, roofing,
Understanding and ability to use power tools and hand tools
Understanding working operations of community building
Working knowledge of construction
Exterior grounds pick up at property
Participate in apartment unit turns as directed
Ability to understand blueprints, manuals, and requirements associated with the job
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand codes and requirements
Able to communicate effectively and assist residents, contractors & associates
Ability to complete in a timely manner proper paperwork for work orders, time sheets, and mileage forms, and any other forms required by the job
Able to order and pick up any needed supplies and parts
Able to adhere to the Krimson associate handbook
Use proper procedures to ensure optimum safety for oneself and property at all times
Work as a team player to insure we offer the best service to our clients

Requirements:
The Lead Maintenance Technician must possess a broad working knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques. The individual must be able to safely and effectively use power tools and lift a minimum of 50 pounds. The individual must have a keen desire to provide high quality repair service and demonstrate an ability to provide good customer service. MUST have a valid driver's license and have own vehicle. May be required to work on-call as needed.
Education and Work Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Two years experience in the building trades or the equivalent combination of education and experience required. Certifications in areas such as construction, HVAC, appliance repair, plumbing repair, and electrical repairs preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
