Role Description The Product Development and Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Orleans, LA. This position oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of eyewear products, from concept and design coordination through sourcing, sampling, and final production. The role manages vendor relationships, monitors timelines, and ensures quality standards and specifications are met for each collection. Daily responsibilities include tracking development calendars, managing BOMs and technical documentation, reviewing prototypes, and resolving production issues with internal teams and external manufacturing partners. The manager collaborates closely with design, merchandising, operations, and supply chain to optimize cost, quality, and delivery, while supporting continuous improvement across KREWE’s product lines.

Qualifications
- Experience in product development and production management, ideally in eyewear, fashion, accessories, or consumer goods.
- Strong skills in vendor and supplier management, including negotiation, performance oversight, and relationship building.
- Proficiency in project management, with the ability to maintain development calendars, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control standards relevant to eyewear or similar products.
- Comfort working with technical specifications, BOMs, and documentation; familiarity with PLM or ERP systems is a plus.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including cost analysis, risk identification, and issue resolution in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across design, operations, and leadership teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in product development, engineering, fashion merchandising, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail.
- Interest in eyewear, fashion, or design and alignment with KREWE’s brand aesthetic and New Orleans-inspired culture.
