Shift Lead

Do you enjoy helping customers, staying organized, and working in a fun, fast-paced environment? We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Shift Lead to join our team.

What You'll Do

• Assist with daily store operations and opening/closing procedures
• Provide outstanding customer service with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Answer customer questions and help resolve concerns professionally
• Wrap gifts and help create a fun, welcoming shopping experience
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure products are accurately stocked in the correct locations
• Enter and manage inventory within our POS system as needed
• Help maintain an organized stockroom and sales floor
• Process damaged merchandise and coordinate with vendors when necessary
• Support and encourage team members while ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional store environment
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, and restocking supplies
• Assist with other duties as assigned

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Is at least 18 years old
• Has a high school diploma or equivalent
• Has retail experience and a solid understanding of customer service and basic retail operations
• Is naturally cheerful, professional, and enjoys interacting with customers
• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy and organization
• Is comfortable using computers and has working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business software
• Communicates effectively with customers, coworkers, vendors, and management
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Thrives in a team-oriented environment
• Can lift up to 30 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience or interest in one or more of the following hobby categories is a plus:

• RC vehicles, plastic models, home brewing, board games and/or related hobby interests

Schedule

• Typically 20-30 hours per week
• Additional hours may be available during busy periods, vacations, and staff absences
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends

Compensation & Benefits

• $17.50-$19.50 per hour, depending on experience Note: We typically will not start at the top of the pay range. ($27,300-$30,420 based on 30 hours a week)
