Chief Integrator / Chief Operating Officer

Multi-Site Dental Group — Onsite, Chico, CA


We are Kremer Dental Care, a people-first dental group based in Chico, California, with ~55 team members, a thriving practice, and an ambition to grow through thoughtful practice acquisitions. We are a Dental Partnerships Organization (DPO) on a mission to preserve private practice dentistry in our region — we are not private equity backed. We believe dentists, not investors, should own the future of dentistry.


We run on EOS/Traction, and we're looking for our Integrator — a hands-on operational leader who knows how to turn strategy into profit while protecting what makes private practice dentistry worth preserving.


Where we're going: We plan to triple in size over the next 5–7 years, including expansion outside of California. Our Integrator will be the operational engine behind that growth.

This is not a desk role. This is not a “meetings all day” executive job.

This role is for someone who understands dentistry at the ground level, can walk into a practice, see where money is leaking, where systems are broken, where teams are stuck — and knows exactly how to fix it.


You will report directly to the Owner/Visionary and work inside the practices alongside Office Managers and clinical teams to drive:

  • Revenue growth
  • Operational excellence

  • Profitability across all locations
  • Successful integration of newly acquired practices
  • Geographic expansion beyond California


You must know multi-site dentistry. You must love being onsite. You must be obsessed with people, processes, and performance.


What You'll Be Responsible For
  • Driving profit across Marketing, HR, Operations, and Finance
  • Standardizing systems and SOPs across all practices
  • Coaching and directly managing Office Managers to run high-performing practices
  • Leading a team of ~55 employees across 4 locations (directly and indirectly)
  • Improving production, collections, scheduling efficiency, case acceptance, hygiene reappointment, new patient flow, and overhead percentage
  • Fixing broken processes and implementing proven ones
  • Leading change inside the practices, not from a distance
  • Creating accountability through metrics, scorecards, and weekly L10 meetings
  • Owning the integration playbook for newly acquired practices
  • Partnering with the Visionary on acquisition targets, due diligence, and post-close transitions
  • Protecting and reinforcing our HEART culture as we grow

  • You are fluent in EOS/Traction or a similar operating system
  • You are comfortable with practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar) and modern dental tech stacks

Required Experience
  • 5 years in multi-site dental operations leadership
  • Strong understanding of dental KPIs: production, collections, hygiene reappointment, case acceptance, scheduling efficiency, overhead %, new patient flow
  • Experience directly coaching and managing Office Managers
  • Ability to read and interpret practice P&Ls and drive EBITDA improvement
  • Proven track record of improving practice profitability
  • Comfortable working onsite in practices regularly
  • Fluency in practice management software and dental-specific technology
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating newly acquired dental practices
  • Background running on EOS/Traction as an Integrator
  • Prior experience inside a DSO, DPO, or emerging dental group
  • Experience opening or operating dental practices in multiple states (multi-state compliance, licensing, and payer contracting)
  • Familiarity with dental-specific marketing and patient acquisition
  • Prior experience as an Office Manager or Regional Manager before moving into operations leadership
Location & Travel

This is an onsite role based in Chico, CA. You'll be in the practices multiple days per week. Relocation support available for the right candidate.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Total cash compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 (competitive base plus performance-based incentives tied to EBITDA, collections growth, and integration milestones)
  • Equity or profit-sharing opportunity for the right candidate as we grow
