Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in East Petersburg, PA. The Senior Accountant will oversee and manage the general accounting functions of the company, including account reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. They will assist with preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards. Moreover, the Senior Accountant will collaborate closely with internal teams and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in using accounting software, financial analysis tools, and spreadsheets
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and perform accurate reconciliations
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts clearly
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and thrive in an on-site environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA licensure is a plus
- Prior experience in the agriculture or food production industry is an advantage
