The Crops Team Associate l is responsible for working in a supervised manner and learning the proper techniques to provide a quality product to the customer by efficiently performing various functions related to preparing land for planting, such as tilling and other related duties. Learn and meet standards for the spring planting procedures. Use correct methods when harvesting and trucking crops. Learn the safe operation of equipment efficiently, such as large tractors, combines, and other heavy equipment. This position will require the crops team associate to be on call as seasons (and weather) dictate.
**MUST NOT CURRENTLY OWN, HUNT BIRDS, OR VISIT ANYONE WHO OWNS BIRDS** (pet bird, backyard flock, etc.)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Capabilities and traits essential to perform satisfactorily
- General aptitude for operating heavy cropping equipment.
- Willing and able to work long hours during primary crop seasons.
- Aptitude for equipment maintenance is required.
- Willing and able to provide basic hand tools.
- CDL-A driver’s license is required (or committing to acquire one within the first year).
