Job Description

Kredens Destine LLC is seeking two dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Cleaners to provide custodial services at a government facility in Accomac, Virginia.

Cleaning services are performed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after normal business hours. Hours may vary depending on workload and completion of required custodial duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, fixtures, and floors
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop designated floor areas
• Empty trash and replace trash liners
• Dust and clean desks, furniture, ledges, windowsills, doors, and other surfaces
• Clean office areas, common areas, hallways, entrances, and designated training areas
• Clean interior glass, entrance doors, and windows as required
• Restock toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and other restroom supplies
• Clean and maintain breakroom/kitchen areas and appliances as required
• Remove fingerprints, marks, dirt, and debris from designated surfaces
• Maintain janitorial equipment, supplies, and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition
• Properly use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies in accordance with manufacturer instructions
• Notify supervision of maintenance, plumbing, lighting, safety, security, or facility issues observed while performing cleaning duties
• Perform periodic and detail-cleaning assignments as required
• Follow all facility security, safety, and janitorial procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule
• Must have reliable transportation to the Accomac, Virginia area
• Must be able to successfully complete the required fingerprint-based criminal history/background check before beginning work
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required VDOT facility access identification
• Must comply with government facility security and access requirements
• Must be able to follow written cleaning procedures and instructions
• Must be able to safely use commercial cleaning products and equipment
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a two-person cleaning team
• Must demonstrate professional conduct while working inside a government facility
• Must be able to perform routine physical janitorial duties, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Previous commercial, government, office, or janitorial cleaning experience is preferred

Compensation

$15.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
