Qualifications
- Proficiency Medical Interpretation in both English and Spanish
- Skills in Simultaneous Interpretation
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
- Strong cultural competence and understanding of Spanish and English linguistic nuances
- Completion of professional interpreter training or certification is highly preferred
- Previous experience in medical or professional interpretation is an advantage
- Complete and up-to-date medical vaccination records.
- Reliable transportation for on-site appointments across Rhode Island.
- Strict commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Must be a US resident or citizen.
