Kreative Bears Preschool® is growing, and we’re looking for caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teachers to join our team!

Our teachers work with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in a warm, play-based learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore.

What You’ll Do

• Create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Support children’s cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development through play and intentional learning experiences.
• Guide daily routines including meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Observe children’s development and maintain required classroom documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in accordance with Pennsylvania DHS requirements.
• Build positive relationships with families through professional and consistent communication.
• Collaborate with teachers and leadership to provide high-quality care and education.
• Support positive behavior through relationship-based and positive guidance practices.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet applicable Pennsylvania DHS child care staff qualification requirements for the position.

Preferred candidates will have:

• 2,500 documented hours of experience working with children in an early childhood or child care setting.
• Previous experience in a licensed child care center.
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or other related education.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Dependability, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to working with young children.
• Ability to lift, bend, sit on the floor, and actively participate in classroom activities throughout the day.

• PA Child Abuse Clearance
• PA State Police Criminal History Check
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance
• National Sex Offender Registry Verification
• Pediatric CPR & First Aid Certification
• Health & Safety Training
• Mandated Reporter Training

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay: $15.00 per hour
• 90-day performance-based wage review

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• Shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM
• No weekends
