Responsibilities

Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor areas looking pristine.
Operate ground maintenance and landscaping equipment including power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and snow plows to perform routine upkeep efficiently.
Support planting activities by identifying plants, installing new greenery, and maintaining existing flora with proper care techniques.
Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to maintain healthy plant growth.
Apply pesticides responsibly following safety protocols to protect plants from pests while safeguarding the environment.
Perform general grounds upkeep tasks such as debris removal, soil aeration, fertilization, and seasonal snow plowing when necessary.
Adhere strictly to safety procedures during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment are essential for efficient task execution.
Experience with landscape maintenance, horticulture, and plant identification helps in maintaining healthy gardens and green spaces.
