Office Manager / Bookkeeper - PT/FT Position available

Are you the person who keeps everything running: the books balanced, the files in order, and the office one step ahead? KRB Development, a general contractor established in 2005, and our sister company BES Electric are looking for an experienced Office Manager / Bookkeeper to run the office side of our growing commercial and residential business.

You're highly organized, love a challenge, and are a true self-starter. You follow procedures, improve what's already in place, and build new systems where they're needed.

•      Track every job from start to finish, from contract and job setup through permits, scheduling, change orders, billing, closeout, and final lien releases

•      Handle full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online for both companies, including A/P, A/R, invoicing, job costing, and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations

•      Process payroll through ADP

•      File quarterly Arizona TPT and keep tax-exempt paperwork (Form 5000) current

•      Request, track, and file certificates of insurance (COIs) for every subcontractor and vendor, and make sure they stay current

•      Prepare, collect, and track conditional and unconditional lien releases and pre-liens on every job

•      Keep W-9s, subcontractor agreements, and vendor setup paperwork complete and organized

•      Keep job files, change orders, and closeout packets organized and current in JobTread

•      Handle the daily tasks of a busy construction office: answering and routing calls for both companies, entering new leads in our CRM, ordering materials, coordinating schedules, and keeping the owners and field team informed

•      Support HR tasks, including recruiting, onboarding, and employee files

•      Strong QuickBooks Online experience, including reconciliations (required)

•      Proven bookkeeping experience with A/P, A/R, and payroll

•      Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills

•      Excellent organizational skills for both physical files and digital systems

•      Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure

•      Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented

•      Project management skills desired

•      Construction or trade office experience is a big plus

•      Experience with JobTread or similar project management software preferred

•      Pay: $26.00– $32.00 /hr (DOE)
