Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Farm Worker to assist with daily farm operations, including crop production, equipment operation, manure hauling, cattle pen cleaning, and general farm maintenance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, operating farm equipment, and performing a variety of physical tasks to keep the farm running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate tractors, skid steers, and other farm equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with planting, harvesting, and general crop production activities.
- Haul and spread manure as needed.
- Clean cattle pens and barns using a skid steer and other equipment.
- Perform general farm maintenance, including upkeep of buildings, equipment, fences, and farm grounds.
- Assist with seasonal farm work and other daily operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous farm experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Experience operating tractors and skid steers is required.
- Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Flexible to work additional hours during busy planting and harvesting seasons.
Work Environment
This position involves outdoor work, physical labor, operating heavy equipment, and working around livestock. Duties may vary depending on the season and daily farm needs.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
