As we grow, we’re looking for a driven and passionate Gym Manager/Head Coach to join our team and help us take Krave Gym Ankeny to the next level.
Position Overview: The Gym Manager/Head Coach will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, ensuring an exceptional member experience, and driving gym growth. This is a hands-on role, where you’ll work closely with coaches, Krave Athletes, and the local community to foster a supportive and motivating TEAM environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily gym operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe facility.
- Lead and mentor the Krave Gym team, including coaching staff.
- Handle athlete relations, resolving issues, and ensuring a top-notch experience for all athletes.
- Drive membership growth through community outreach, partnerships, and marketing strategies.
- Oversee scheduling of TEAM sessions, staff, and events to maximize efficiency.
- Implement gym policies, safety protocols, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Track key performance metrics, reporting to upper management.
- Assist in marketing initiatives, including social media, promotions, and local events.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in gym management or fitness industry leadership is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Passion for athletics, fitness, TEAM-based training, and a commitment to the Krave Gym mission.
- Proven ability to drive membership growth and improve Athlete retention.
- Experience in staff management and customer service.
- Basic understanding of fitness equipment, safety standards, and facility management.
- Marketing and social media skills are a plus.
