As part of the OpenSpace Test team, the Software Test Engineer will support test activities within the development organization. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and executes system tests
- Assists with troubleshooting problems within the test environment
- Installs and configures software within the test environment
- Records and correlates test data with associated requirements and work items in our software quality systems

Required Experience:
- Scripting/Coding using Bash, Python, etc.
- General knowledge with Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher
- Build pipeline automation and packaging using tools such as Bamboo and Artifactory
- General cloud knowledge with AWS and Azure
- Basic understanding of VLANs, firewalls (iptables), switching (trunk/access), tunneling and air-gapping
- Familiarity with working in a SAFe Agile environment using Atlassian suite of tools such as Jira and Confluence or other similar collaboration tools
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Build pipeline automation using tools such as Atlassian Bamboo or Azure DevOps, Atlassian Bitbucket or GitHub or GitLab and JFrog Artifactory
- Expert knowledge with Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher
- Experience developing/conducting tests related to scalability and performance and addressing found issues
- Expert cloud knowledge
- Experience with Satellite Command and Control Systems
