Duties

• Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure security protocols are maintained.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and restricted zones to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees by checking credentials and issuing visitor passes as needed.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Enforce loss prevention measures by observing and intervening in suspicious behaviors or activities that could lead to theft or damage.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, security breaches, or safety hazards for record-keeping and future reference.
• Assist in providing first aid or CPR in case of medical emergencies until professional help arrives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to effectively respond to medical emergencies.
• Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and alarm monitoring equipment.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during tense situations.
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security best practices.
• Ability to perform physical duties including standing for extended periods, patrolling large areas, and conducting inspections.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
