Kratos has an exciting opportunity in Colorado Springs, CO for an experienced Assembly and Integration Technician. Your role will include:
- Build production and prototype electronic assemblies including, but not limited to: Chassis, Racks, Servers, Signal Conditioning Boards (SCBs) and Input/Output (I/O) panels.
- Complete RMA (Return Material Authorization) assembly and repair work to support Customer Service
- Perform regular soldering and reworking of previously assembled products as required; sometimes extensive work required in this area.
- Assemble and label wires and wire harnesses per cable specifications.
- Assist in material handling as received from Inventory or Direct from Suppliers and as supplied to the production area.
- Experience soldering wires and/or printed circuit boards
- Experience assembling chassis including experience with using torque tools and Loctite
- Ability to work with small parts (0402) and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously without losing focus or track of material
- Experience with building cable harnesses and wire routing
Preferred Skills and Experience
- IPC solder certified
- Lead-free solder experience
- Knowledge of test equipment such as DMMs
- Detail oriented and organized
- Track record of working in a team environment, ability to maintain a clean and well-organized work area, maintain lab notebooks and work with Engineering and others in a positive, proactive manner
- Experience with engineering drawings, BOMs, assembly instructions, and using MES in an ERP system

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
