Key Responsibilities
- Program Execution & Oversight
- Support the planning and execution of program activities to meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements
- Monitor program performance, identify issues, and help implement corrective actions
- Ensure alignment of tasks and deliverables across multiple projects within the program
- Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations and coordinate with functional teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular status updates
- Assist in resource planning, staffing, and workload balancing
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Support preparation and delivery of program reviews, briefings, and reports
- Maintain strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and contract compliance
- Risk & Compliance Management
- Identify program risks and support mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to contractual requirements, policies, and regulatory standards
- Assist with audits, quality reviews, and documentation
- Financial & Reporting Support
- Help manage program budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
- Track expenditures and support cost control efforts
- Contribute to financial reporting and analysis
- Leadership & Team Support
- Provide guidance to project managers and team members
- Promote collaboration and accountability across teams
- Step in for the Program Manager when required to lead meetings or make decisions
Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5–10 years of program or project management experience
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and performance tracking
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar)
- DoD Secret Clearance
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification
- Experience in [industry—e.g., government contracting, IT, healthcare, engineering]
- Familiarity with compliance standards relevant to the industry (e.g., FAR, SOX, ISO)
- Leadership and decision-making
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
