POSITION SUMMARY:

This field position is responsible for light grounds & building maintenance for all Krapf owned, leased, or rented properties and facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply with company safe work practices and procedures to reduce hazard exposure
• Perform light building maintenance such as routine painting, replacing light bulbs, etc.
• Sweep, clean and degrease shop area, drivers’ lounge and bathrooms. Replenish sanitary supplies as needed
• Perform year-round maintenance and cultivation of grounds (i.e. lawn, shrubbery and flowers)
• Clean/remove snow and debris from sidewalks and parking lots
• Perform other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Self-starter with good organizational skills and ability to follow directions
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to operate all types of power equipment including lawn equipment, chain saws, tractors, chippers, etc.
• Fine motor coordination & the ability to operate hand tools and other auto repair equipment
• Ability to work inside and outside regardless of weather conditions

EDUCATION:

• High School diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Periodically lifting, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 35 lbs. and lifting heavier objects with assistance
• Ability to perform physically demanding activities during eight-hour shift
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs
• Ability to reach to shoulder height and overhead
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and reach around vehicles
