Role Overview
We’re seeking a talented Video Editor to join our growing team. You’ll work exclusively in Adobe Premiere Pro to edit raw footage captured from construction sites—drone shots, interviews, heavy equipment, and more—and turn it into visually clean, compelling content.
You’ll be responsible for cutting footage to music, assembling storylines, applying light color and audio treatment, and delivering sharp edits that align with our minimal, field-first style. This is not a flashy or corporate editing role—we focus on purpose-driven edits that let the work speak for itself.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Organize and manage raw footage, proxies, sequences, and export files
- Apply color correction, audio balancing, and light sound design
- Cut videos to music tracks, aligning pacing and energy with rhythm
- Incorporate lower thirds, title cards, or motion graphics when needed
- Deliver final exports in social-friendly formats (9:16, 16:9, 1:1, etc.)
- Follow detailed creative briefs and internal style guidelines
- Manage revision rounds and respond to creative feedback in a timely manner
- Collaborate with producers and content strategists to align with client goals
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (non-negotiable)
- Demonstrated editing experience with clean pacing and strong visual sensibility
- Portfolio or reel showcasing professional editing work
- Understanding of color correction, sound leveling, and editing best practices
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred / Bonus:
- Familiarity with construction, industrial, or documentary-style footage
- Experience working with professional, raw video footage: R3D, BRAW, etc
- Experience with Adobe After Effects
- Basic understanding of file compression, delivery formats, and metadata

Required Test Edit

This test edit helps us evaluate your editing eye, sense of pacing, and ability to work with construction-specific footage. The footage is trimmed and pre-selected; the edit should take no more than 1–2 hours.
We’re looking for clean, rhythm-based editing with an eye for detail—no flashy transitions, no excessive effects. Just clear, intentional cuts that reflect our field-first style.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
