CNC Machine Operator (2yrs exp)

Summary:

Responsible for all set up, maintenance and daily operation of CNC MILLING MACHINE.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinating work between plant manager and Maching division.
• Loading/unloading material/jobs from machine.
• Operating machine controls and setting offsets.
• Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations and set up requirements.
• Inspection of completed work for quality standards and conformance requirements.
• Ensure production rates are met or exceeded.
• Facilitate movement of jobs from waterjet division to next level of production.
• Perform preventative maintenance and upkeep to machine and work station.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• High energy level required.
• Ability to read blue prints.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments (ie: calipers, micrometers, gages, etc.).
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for an 8hr shift minimum.
• Basic computer knowledge necessary.
• Previous CNC operation a plus.
• Must be able to drive a forklift.
