Offset Printing Press Operator-First Shift

We are currently seeking to build our team by adding a First Shift Sheetfed Offset Press Operator. We are seeking an experienced 2-6 color press operator who is self-directed, and detailed-oriented with a strong work ethic to join our team. OFFSET PRESS OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• At least 3 years experience running 2-6 color sheetfed offset presses
• Set up and run press to industry standards
• Make press adjustments as required to ensure quality standards are met
• Meet or exceed print efficiency standards
• Maintain cleanliness of press and press area and perform press maintenance
• Ability to use PMS color matching book & densitometer to measure dot characteristics
• Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining the highest quality level
• Mechanical skills
• Must be able to work independently and with a team
• Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated
• Strong attention to detail
• Help in other production areas as needed
• Work in other areas as needed
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.

OFFSET PRESS OPERATOR REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 1-3 years experience running sheetfed presses
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior commercial print shop experience
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all personnel
• Good verbal and written communication skills to follow job instructions
• Lift /move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and bending is required throughout the shift
• Excellent attendance and punctuality required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
