If so, join us! We’re Kramarczuk Sausage Co., one of Minneapolis’ most famous delis and a James Beard Foundation America’s Classic restaurant. We’re looking for a specialist to work behind the counter in our restaurant.
In this role, you’ll serve customers hot prepared meals, while also taking part in basic food preparation. Our customers range from neighborhood regulars to tourists and sometimes celebrities—no two days are alike. Other job perks include employee discounts on products and paid lunch breaks.
Ideally, you have an affinity for Ukrainian and East European food and cured meats such as cabbage rolls, sauerkraut, pierogi, sausage, and of course, bacon. Even better if you have experience serving customers, working with deli/cooking equipment (e.g., slicers,griddles, etc.), and following food service cleaning practices. If not, no problem. We’ll teach you everything!
Our hours are generally 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., so having evening availability is key. You must also be able to lift 40 pounds—or roughly 10 slabs of bacon.
