Job Summary
We are seeking a Server/ Bartender to join our team. As a server, you will be engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Your friendliness and hard work will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations while ensuring the accuracy of orders.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly while adhering to all local laws regarding alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and maintain food safety standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing orders and payments.
- Handle food safely and ensure compliance with health regulations throughout the restaurant and bar area.
Skill
- Experience is preferred.
- Must obtain a food safety card and a MAST permit within a few weeks of hiring.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
