QUALITY ASSURANCE LAB TECHNICIAN

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Lab Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all laboratory processes adhere to strict quality standards, regulatory requirements, and scientific protocols. The successful individual as a Quality Assurance Lab Technician will conduct TPE and its raw materials test according to test standards; operate injection molding machine for TPE testing; run testing device verification procedures; check measurement with historical values; document scan and organize samples/ equipment accessories/ tools etc.; and collaborate with other internal teams.

Duties

• Operate Lab testing equipment in accordance with SOP and specifications.
• Test & record the results.
• Review product specifications and quality procedures through SAP & order sheet.
• Responsible for lab maintenance including injection molding machine, testing device, equipment & tools.
• Mold plaques (2mm, 6mm, step chip, etc.)
• Responsible for raw material, online, finished good test such as density, hardness (Shore, Shore D, and VLRH), tensile and elongation, haze/ color measurement, rheology (HPCV, MFR/MFI) measurement, moisture, compression set, spiral flow, electric properties, other TPE tests.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, especially to safety regulations.
• Report to management about product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
• Report to management about any conditions that might affect quality or on-time delivery.
• Attend training classes provided by KRAIBURG TPE.
• Review the activities in the QA report to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Record all activities to SAP and QA report accurately.
• Report to management and related departments about all potential issues of production.
• Able to prioritize the test sequence.
• Be available to provide support on weekends as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  

Job Requirements

• High school graduate or higher
• Prefer one experience in the plastic industry or manufacturing.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Cooperate with fellow employees, especially within production area.
• Ability to prioritize and use time efficiently.
• Must have good written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working with processing & laboratory equipment required.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
  
  

Compensation and Benefits: KTPE offers a comprehensive benefits package from day one! Pay range for this role is $20 to $22.65 per hour depending on experience.
