What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a Crew Leader who can guide field teams, coordinate daily construction activities, uphold safety and quality standards, and keep projects moving efficiently from start to finish.
What You Will Do
- Read and interpret blueprints inside of project management software and specifications to plan construction activities
- Estimate labor and material needs for project completion
- Supervise, schedule, and coordinate construction crews and daily operations
- Collaborate with managerial personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve issues
- Oversee workflow and ensure alignment with overall project timelines
- Order and manage materials, supplies, and equipment
- Mark and verify site locations for structures and installations
- Maintain accurate records of personnel, production, and operational data
- Assign tasks based on project requirements and workforce capacity
- Support field crews and assist with hands-on construction tasks as needed
- Train employees on construction methods, equipment use, and safety standards
- Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance
- Inspect work sites to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with specifications
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, etc.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Understand construction practices, playground installation standards, and jobsite safety regulations, along with the ability to read blueprints and plan work effectively
- Must be able to coordinate and supervise crew activities, estimate labor and material needs, and communicate clearly with managers, contractors, and inspectors
- Maintain accurate project records, arranging equipment repairs, and ensuring all work meets safety requirements and project specifications
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required
- Plumbing background preferred
