Role Description
The role includes managing engineering resources, guiding project execution, and collaborating closely with sales, customers, and suppliers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. This individual will play a key role in advancing emerging technologies while translating real-world customer needs into practical, high-impact applications.
This is a full-time, onsite role for an Application Engineering Manager based in Strongsville, OH. This position leads the applications engineering team and drives the development of system solutions for off-highway mobile equipment.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team development experience within a technical engineering environment
- Extensive experience in application engineering, particularly in hydraulics, electronic controls, or electric drive systems
- Proven ability to manage projects, priorities, and resources in a dynamic, customer-driven setting
- Comfortable operating autonomously while aligning with broader business objectives
- Experience working directly with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) and control programming platforms (e.g., Danfoss PLUS 1)
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a leadership role
