Kraemer Brothers is hiring a Project Manager/Estimator to collaborate with Senior Management to sell our work, coordinate, lead, and monitor all contractual aspects of their assigned projects.
Essential Duties include:
-Initiate, administer, and secure subcontractors bids
-Write subcontractor/supplier contracts and purchase orders
-Create detailed construction takeoff
-Prepare schematic and component budgets
-Coordinate and manage all administrative requirement/permits/pre-planning and post job review meetings to ensure accordance with design, schedule, and budget
-Professionally represent the company to architects, owners, subcontractors, and other external contacts to maintain the company’s superior reputation
-Interact effectively with the company’s business development staff, field operations personnel, and productivity and planning managers to achieve successful construction project objectives
Knowledge/Skills/Education/Experience
-Knowledge of construction administration
-Maintain organization while managing multiple projects
-Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
-Written and Verbal communication skills
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering OR 5 years’ experience
