Summary of Position
The Plant Manager position at KrackCorn is responsible for facility-wide production activities. This includes adhering to safety and quality standards, managing production schedules, hiring and training employees,and warehousing/inventory management. The Plant Manager will oversee and guide the manufacturing team to achieve output and production goals, which will be communicated through weekly meetings and daily reports with the management team. In doing so, this position is expected to uphold food safety and quality standards, while continuously striving to maximize facility efficiencies. Through the embodiment of KrackCorn’s Core Values, the Plant Manager will be an important role in the continued development of company culture and overall growth of the company.
Job Details
- Salary – Starting at $60,000 - $65,000/year depending on skills and experience, plus quarterly bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities / Duties
- Understand and implement all food safety, good manufacturing practices, and quality control practices – manage training of all personnel to follow these practices
- Hire, train, and develop of production and packaging floor employees
- Responsible for daily personnel management (point system management)
- Full ownership of the equipment maintenance, functioning, and efficiency.
- Responsible for daily warehouse organization management
- Create daily/weekly/monthly schedules for all warehouse employees
- Assist in production/packaging as needed
- Continue to improve processes to abide by LEAN manufacturing practices
- Operate company forklift following all safety measures with responsibility for loading and unloading all trucks, stacking finished product pallets on racking, pulling finished product orders from racking and onto staging
- Manage PO outgoing schedule and communicate with Operations Manager daily for shipment scheduling
- Track and log supply/ingredient inventory and lot numbers
- Submit daily production and packaging batch logging reports
- Meet w/ management team to go over weekly deliverables
- Troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production, packaging and facility equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment, and maintain the Preventative Maintenance Schedule (PMS)

Education and Experience

- 5 years in leadership or management positions in manufacturing industries preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
