Job Description:
- Server cleans tables and sets them to be ready for use by residents and guests
- Server greets guests and hand them menus
- Announce daily specials, answer questions about menu items, and take orders
- Write orders on tickets and give to kitchen staff to prepare food
- Picks up drinks and food when orders are ready and serves guests
- Observes customers to respond if they require additional service
- Prepares and delivers check
- Accepts signed check from resident and processes for payment
- Server cleans table and prepares it for next guest
- Move tables and arrange dining room for special party’s
- Server cleans dining area after each meal
- Maintains a clean server station and work area throughout shift
- Server re-stocks assigned stations and cooler area during each shift
Qualifications:
- Polite, friendly manner to deal with customers
- Neat, clean appearance and willingness to follow rules for sanitary food service
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently to provide prompt service
- Ability to keep track of orders and prepare checks
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
Education / Requirements
- No prior experience or training
