Unarmed Security Officer - Sonoma, CAKR is accepting applications for experienced Unarmed Security Officers to provide unarmed patrol security services at the Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport.Holiday10 holidays with holiday pay, recognized by the KR Contracting Inc.Duties/ResponsibilityUnarmed Security Officers shall perform all tasks in accordance with the duties outlined within the Post Orders and the Performance Work Statement. Duties include but are not limited to:Maintain order and security, and remain professional, courteous, and respectfulArrive on time, completely outfitted, and ready for dutyAdhere to customer policy and maintain confidential dataAssist in inspection of interior and exterior of buildingComplete building inspection reportAssist customer at entrance scannerPatrol halls throughout buildingsMonitor for suspicious items or activitiesRespond to calls for assistance, as neededProvide breaks/relief to security staffMonitor parking lot and employee entrance/exit.Complete daily logbook entryEnsure the safekeeping of all keys, access cards, fobs, and codes.QualificationsEighteen (18) years of ageHigh school graduate or equivalent certificateCurrent and Active Drivers License. One (1) year of experience in security/law enforcement work.Must possess a California Security Guard LicenseMust undergo a fingerprint based Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and Security Threat Assessment (STA) in accordance with TSA regulations.Complete a background check with no clear criminal record, and not on any type of probation, no convictions or charges for any form of domestic violenceMust obtain and maintain an Airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) at all timesShall fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English.
