Job Summary
Kentucky Process Service is expanding and seeking reliable, self-motivated, and organized Process Servers to serve [Hopkins County/Madisonville KY Area ] and surrounding counties. We have a few other areas available throughout the state of Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia, please apply and let us know where you are located!
The position entails delivering important civil legal documents to individuals. You will be traveling to various addresses to attempt to deliver the documents. Documents are emailed to you. Each assignment must be started within 24-48 hours of receipt. You must attempt at least three times to contact the person at the provided address within a 7 to 8 day period. You are paid per address.
The average number of hours per week varies as all work is assigned on as needed basis.
This is a flexible-schedule, independent contractor (1099) position best suited for individuals seeking supplemental income. Candidates currently working full-time are not eligible for this position.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation, driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Must have a computer, printer, and reliable internet access within your home or work environment. No exceptions can be made.
- Must be dependable, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Must be able to meet deadlines and communicate professionally
- Must pass a background check
- Process-serving experience is preferred, but qualified applicants willing to learn are encouraged to apply
- Smart Phone– all servers must download our phone app used on all assignments for status reports
