Pay range will be $1800 a day for Owner/Operators. Two years minimum is required. Truckers are allowed to choose how many days they are willing to work. 3 days minimum 6 days maximum.
Job Description
Join our team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A Truck Driver, where you will play a vital role in transporting dollar tree loads across various routes with professionalism and precision. Typical loads can range anywhere between 1500 boxes to 4500 boxes a day. Truck drivers are only expected to unload trucks as the trailers they will pick up will be fully loaded already. Rollers, crates and ratchet straps will be utilized to make unloading easier. The heaviest boxes are estimated around 10 pounds maybe lighter and about 80% are lightweight boxes. Dollar tree pickup distribution centers deliver to the following locations Ohio/North Carolina/South Carolina/Florida/Virginia. Everyday a Owner/Operator will pickup a fully loaded trailer from the distribution center and unload the trucks at the dollar tree stores. Please note owners/operators will be expected to pay for their own fuel and insurance. We are simply sourcing you contracts and allowing them to be done in our name.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA guidelines
- Plan and execute efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across OTR routes
- Unload freight with manual handling techniques while maintaining safety standards for hazardous materials and dangerous goods
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL Class A license with 2 years minimum experience.
- Strong knowledge of trucking operations including unloading procedures, truck unloading techniques, and picking up trailers.
- Proficiency in GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments during deliveries
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service during delivery driving activities
Experience:
