KPMG is currently seeking a UI/UX Designer (Manager) to join our Audit Technology Alliance organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of intuitive, effective, and user-centric experiences for our generative AI products, with a specialized focus on creating seamless Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows
- Collaborate closely with product managers, AI engineers, and audit professionals to translate complex user stories and technical requirements into elegant and practical design solutions
- Establish and champion a comprehensive design system, including best practices, UI patterns, and component libraries, to ensure a consistent, high-quality, and reliable user experience across the entire product suite
- Drive the product's user-centric evolution by conducting user research, leading usability testing sessions, and analyzing feedback to iteratively refine and enhance the human-agent interaction model
- Develop and own the end-to-end user journey map, ensuring every interaction is thoughtfully designed to align with the strategic vision of transforming and automating the audit process
- Provide hands-on creation of high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
- Minimum five years of recent professional experience in UI/UX design for complex, data-intensive enterprise applications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; master's degree from an accredited college or university in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing sophisticated, user-centric interfaces, particularly for products involving AI, machine learning, or complex data analytics
- Proven experience working within an Agile development environment, utilizing SDLC tools such as Azure DevOps and Git for design handoffs and cross-functional collaboration
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing effective Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) systems that facilitate intuitive and efficient user interaction with AI agents
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale to stakeholders and navigate the unique challenges of designing for emerging technologies
