KPMG is currently seeking a State and Local Tax Associate, Content Enablement to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of generative AItechnologies and digital tools within the SALT practice, independently drivingenhancements in tax research methodologies and maintaining tax applicationcontent
- Conduct advanced tax analysis to align AIapplications with complex state and local tax regulations, making decisions tooptimize compliance strategies
- Independently assess and support decision-makingprocesses, delivering actionable insights to for elevation and strategicreview
- Spearhead training initiatives, independentlydeveloping programs to transition staff to AI-integrated compliance methods andfacilitating their use of KGS
- Oversee the management and compliance oftax-related content, making strategic decisions to ensure regulatory adherenceand alignment with firm standards.
- Contribute to and leads continuousimprovement and innovation efforts, integrating new techniques from CSDtraining curriculum into practical applications
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
- Minimum two years of recent experience in taxcompliance or a related advisory role
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionin a related field is required
- Proven ability to swiftly learn, retain, andmake independent decisions based on complex tax information, managinghigh-velocity workloads and critical deadlines effectively, demonstrating asignificant level of independent decision-making and accountability
- Expertise in AI applications andproficiency in tax technology tools, with the ability to independently optimizetheir use is preferred
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Officeapplications, providing comprehensive data analysis and insights
- Excellent verbal and written communicationskills to independently articulate complex findings and influence strategicdecision-making
