KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design, implementation, and management of Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scripts to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources
- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business and technical requirements
- Implement best practices for cloud architecture, focusing on scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance
- Ensure robust security measures are implemented across all cloud environments in compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment of cloud infrastructure
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, processes, and procedures
- A minimum of three years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Terraform
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- In-depth understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
- Azure Certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred
- Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance
