KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Middleware to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, configure, and optimize both SharePoint Online and multiple SharePoint Subscription Edition farms; deploy and configure security patches and complete the upgrade process on all on-premises farms
- Ensure seamless integration and performance of SharePoint solutions to meet business needs; manage and execute the migration of SharePoint farms both on-premises and in the cloud
- Support the O365 application suite, including OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Data Loss Protection, and O365 Security and Compliance; assist with configuring Office 365 services and provide user management support; provide guidance and best practices for the proper setup and ongoing maintenance and administration of M365 technologies
- Monitor Azure resources to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness; collaborate on projects involving Azure services to enhance SharePoint and OneDrive functionalities
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to SharePoint Online, SharePoint Subscription Edition, OneDrive, Office 365, and SQL integrations; ensure robust integration and synchronization between SharePoint and Active Directory, as well as with SQL databases
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and IT teams; work directly with clients to prioritize requests and frequently update them to ensure they are informed of progress and estimated delivery timeframes
- Minimum three years of recent experience configuring and troubleshooting IIS, Office Web Apps, Microsoft SharePoint Workflow Manager, PowerShell and Claims-based authentication for SharePoint
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online administration, PowerApps, Power Automate, Azure and PnP PowerShell; Strong knowledge of Azure CLI, Bash and other scripting tools used for Azure
- Knowledge of third-party tools, including AvePoint, Compliance Guardian, and Sharegate, is a significant advantage; practical experience managing and supporting O365 Government - GCC Tenants is highly valued
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes-based solutions is a plus; working knowledge of SQL Server, Active Directory, load balancing, and security is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
