KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Internal Audit Professional Practices organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct or support the development, maintenance, and execution of the Internal Quality Assurance Program
  • Support the maintenance of the Internal Audit Methodology, as well as associated tools, templates, and guidance
  • Participate in the development, and delivery of departmental training materials
  • Support the creation and maintenance of the Internal Audit Universe, and annual audit plan
  • Participate with internal audit management in the development of management reporting, and draft or edit reports for accuracy, clarity, as well as conciseness
  • Communicate effectively, information and status updates to internal audit management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of recent experience in internal audit or risk management
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university; Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Audito (CISA), (or equivalent) certification is preferred
  • Working knowledge of internal audit and risk management methodologies and frameworks
  • Proficient in various auditing and analytical tools, including audit management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to positively influence, mentor, and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
  • Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
