KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Talent & Culture Compliance Services to join our Talent and Culture organization.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary strategic partner, directing communication and strategy between the HR Risk Management team, the Office of General Counsel (OGC), and HR Service Delivery to address complex regulatory matters
- Lead the strategy and initiatives to ensure the implementation and adherence to federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, in close collaboration with OGC
- Oversee and execute the preparation and distribution of all regulatory communications, including reports and notices, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of all compliance obligations
- Act as the senior subject matter expert for onshore and offshore teams, providing strategic guidance on complex inquiries and coaching individuals through centralization efforts, process escalations, and the implementation of new offshore team extensions
- Govern the firm's Document and Data Control Process, taking ownership of the maintenance and version control protocols for all state forms, system notices, and critical compliance documentation
- Lead comprehensive compliance audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and legal adherence; present findings and strategic recommendations for process optimization to senior leadership within the HR Compliance Services team
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
- Minimum five years of recent experience in human resources from a professional services organization is preferred
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ServiceNow, with the ability to leverage these tools for enhanced productivity and insight
- Advanced analytical skills and a demonstrated commitment to process optimization and continuous improvement
- Expertise in HR laws and regulations, with proven ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory employment requirements
- Strong multi-tasking abilities, with a history of meeting deadlines and managing client expectations effectively; superior customer service orientation, paired with exceptional verbal and written communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
