KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Platform Product Management to join our Product organization.
Responsibilities:
- Shape the multi-year platform strategy and integrated roadmaps for an AI-native platform across multiple complex domains, aligning product, technology, and firm priorities
- Own the capability inventory and assessment across advisory and relevant functions, identifying recurring workflows, agents, data models, and integrations that should become reusable platform assets — and harvest the best of them into the shared platform in collaboration with our engineering organization
- Lead cross-domain recommendations on shared versus product-specific capabilities and build, buy, partner, or harvest options for senior product and technology leaders
- Advise engineering and architecture leaders on cross-platform architecture and integration decisions, prioritize technical debt, and ensure reusable capabilities meet scalability, reliability, security, regulatory, and technical standards
- Resolve major roadmap, dependency, reuse, and investment trade-offs across platform domains and product teams, using customer needs, technical feasibility, critical gaps, and platform value to guide decisions
- Set platform adoption and reuse measures, using build-time, cost, reliability, and product-team outcomes; Drive internal adoption through evangelism, documentation and developer experience; Coach professionals and advance technical product-management practices across teams
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
- Minimum ten years of recent experience in product management for technical products or platforms, including owning a B2B or enterprise platform product end to end
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; Minimum of a high school GED is required; Minimum of twelve years of equivalent professional experience is required
- Proven experience shaping platform strategy across complex technical products, platforms, or processes with results in platform adoption, cross product reuse, delivery speed, cost, or customer outcomes; experience in a complex or regulated environment is preferred
- Deep technical product management experience, including product lifecycle management, cross-product prioritization, analytics and experimentation, and defining non-functional requirements (NFRs) and service level objectives (SLOs). Demonstrated fluency in application programming interfaces (APIs), data models, AI and agent frameworks, integration patterns, and technical debt trade-off decisions
- Demonstrated daily use of AI across working practice, and platforms or products that have shipped or shaped where AI and agent frameworks were core rather than decorative; ability to guide shared versus product-specific capability decisions and develop build, buy, partner, or harvest recommendations
- Ability to operate with limited oversight, advise senior product and technology leaders, resolve complex cross-platform trade-offs, and coach professionals in leading technical product-management practices; preferred experience with developer or internal platforms (i.e. Agent orchestration, connector and integration architecture, or governed AI tooling) with audit trails and human-in-the-loop controls with application, data, or legacy modernization tooling
